Oftentimes, we can explain, intellectually, what it is that we have been carrying for so long. However, I feel like we often donβt have the tools, resources, or support to work through our burdens and let them go. This course helped me in my healing journey. Our fearless leader, Jen, was patient and understanding throughout the course which in return made us feel that we were in a safe space, that we are not alone, and itβs ok to heal and rest and trust God fully to handle our burdens.

I have truly seen a transformative pivot in me since Iβve taken this class. While we always say we need to get rid of the fear, confront the procrastination, I have a fresh revelation of what it means to let go of it all after these couple of weeks. I feel such an adrenaline rush of creativity and new layer of freedom that I havenβt quite touched yet, but itβs already available to me. The more I let go, the more I step into it.

I recently completed the 4-week course βThe Rested Woman, Learning the Art of Letting Goβ moderated by Jennifer Hall. This is the first time I have ever joined a workshop/class like this therefore, I was a little apprehensive. Well, after week 1, I was hooked! I soon realized that God had been knocking on my door all along, but I was too βbusyβ to stop, be still, and listen. This journey took me from anxious self-reflection to peaceful healing. Being able to share our experiences freely without judgment or shame is something we donβt give people enough time and space for in society today. Although I have a lot more work to doβthis is only the beginning. Iβm forever grateful to Jenny and the other women in our group for their words of encouragement, prayers, and genuine care. I drew strength from you.
